So Jon Schwartz pretty much f-ed people over who bought tickets to The Park for Halloween. But in a completely unrelated matter, Alex Pall and Rhett Bixler of The Chainsmokers made this HILARIOUS remix about him. Check out their note and the song.
I am not sure if this is something that interests you much, but if it does happen too, I know you will find it very amusing. So our names are Alex and Rhett, we are The Chainsmokers, the dj group, and basically we put together this song which is sort of a hyperbole/metaphor/roast of one of NYC’s nightlife figures Jon Schwartz of Strategic group. Its a pretty ridiculous song, where we have taken the R&B song ‘birthday sex’ and remixed it with new lyrics that pretty much call out our buddy and some other things.
Jon Schwartz of Strategic group is a friend of ours, but in spite of that we felt we had to take the necessary steps to fire back at our friend for some misfortune we have experienced at times. While the song might seem a bit harsh and very funny it is purely in jest and is meant to be a bit of a roast on the old boy. Of course we played it for him first and he thoroughly enjoyed it.
So on that note I have attached the song for you all to hopefully enjoy and laugh at. We are terrible singers, hence why we chose autotune and generally stick to djing, but thought this would be something funny for all to enjoy who are involved in nightlife (and serve as a warning for those we have the power to mess around with ppl from a nightlife POV that we can indeed fire back, in jest of course, cause we do love Jon)
So hope you enjoy it, and if you think its something others might enjoy feel free posting it on your site or doing whatever you choose with it. Hopefully we’ll have a music video coming soon.
Cheers,
-lcs
