Australian Designers Dazzle NYC During Fashion Palette Showcase
Last night we headed to the glamorous Canoe Studios in New York City to see ten Australian designers showcase their Spring/Summer 2012 collections in the Fashion Palette runway show. Both established and emerging Australian design talent were flown in to present their work to international media and buyers during New York Fashion Week.
We witnessed lots of sparkle, intricate tailoring and beautiful prints. Like many fashion creatives around the world, the designers were excited to be in the Big Apple. We asked them to share their thoughts on New York and getting prepped for the show. Check out images from the show and their answers below.

Why do New Yorkers love Australian style?
I think its the point of view we offer. It's a bit glamourous, relaxed effortless and refreshingly different. And we have names like Maticevski just to make it a bit harder.
