Better Know A Blogger: Style Marmalade
Mexican artist Victoria Leeds is the creator of Style Marmalade, an ode to Leeds' eclectic sense of style and a cross-section of the quirkier side of design found on the Internet. As if killer style and a carefully curated look at art was not enough, the multitalented Leeds shows us her own work in photography, styling and DIY on the blog. Here she shares with us everything you need to know about Style Marmalade.
How did you pick the name of your site?
I love the word marmalade. I love the way it sounds plus marmalade brings great memories of me as a child. One of my favorite treats was bread with marmalade. I just sort of added the word style because at the end of the day my blog is about my personal style and creativity.
What is your favorite outfit right now?
My wide brim hat, ankle boots and jeans.
Describe your style
Tomboy.
Which of your posts are you most proud of and why?
The one I did a tribute to Frida Kahlo and the Day of the Dead in Mexico. Two of my favorites things about my culture.
Who is your celebrity fashion icon?
I like musicians like Alison Mosshart, Florence Welch and Coco Sumner.
Do you have any stories about your fans?
I don't really see my followers as fans. For me they are more like blogger friends. I like the way they've supported my blog since I started. Having this support is wonderful and I love sharing with people what I do and hopefully they can feel inspired.
When I am not blogging I like to…
Spend time with my family.
