CloudSourcing: Danny Avila
Only 17, Spanish house whiz kid Danny Avila has quickly become a name to watch in 2012. Producing music, DJing at swank clubs, palling around with superstar DJs twice his age and hosting his Ready To Jump radio show every Wednesday on SiriusXM, Avila is working hard to make his own mark on the dance floor.
Having recently completed a 13-date tour of America that coincided with the release of his new single "Breaking Your Fall," the remainder of the year will be filled with lots more gigs for this up-and-coming mixmaster. We caught up with Avila at home in between shows and asked him to offer a few words about his five favorite producers on SoundCloud.
1. Wallem Brothers
Their music is incredible, totally fresh and new. What I like most about them is that they have their own style and sound. As soon as you hear one of their tracks, after four seconds you will know it's a Wallem Brothers production!
2. Gina Star
I was impressed when Nicky Romero showed me her track called "Action." There are not so many girls making this level of music so you should definitely check her out.
I play his productions on my weekly radio shows, and I think he is making really cool music.
I've been playing his tracks since I was 14. The music he produces is really hard to make, especially because it changes beats. That's what makes him unique.
5. David Puentez
David is a good friend of mine. What I like most about him is that he is very constant, always releasing new stuff. And you should also check his bootlegs!
