Cocktail Recipe: Perrier Glamour
This year, France is represented on the red carpet by its most illustrious actress: the famous Perrier bottle. The recipe was inspired by the Cannes Film Festival and its magnificently dressed actresses as they ascend up the red steps to stardom.
Powerful ginger works well with the sweetness of raspberry; a simple but subtle combination. The subtle citrus flavors of Cointreau are enhanced by the bubbles of Perrier.
Preparation
In a shaker filled with ice, mix the Cointreau, the ginger liqueur and three fresh raspberries. Once mixed, open the shaker and add 2 3/4 oz. of Perrier. In a Champagne flute, use the gelatin to stick a raspberry at the bottom of the glass. Next, “squeeze” the lemon zest and rub around the inside of the glass to add a hint of flavor. Fill the glass with the mixture while filtering the ice cubes. Garnish with a skewer of fresh raspberries.
