Dîner en Blanc Brings Pop-Up Dining to Paris
Last night thousands of Parisians came out for an evening of spontaneous and elegant dining under the skies of the French capital.
Dressed in white, carrying champagne and picnic baskets, the pop-up dinner converged in two stunning venues in the city. One crowd took over the gardens of the Place des Vosges, while a second group of diners alongside roaring sets played by musicians, left onlookers dazzled at Parvis Notre Dame.
Marking the 24th year since the dinner first started as an intimate picnic amongst friends, this year the Dîner en Blanc will spread throughout the world, with evenings planned in 15 cities across five continents. From New York, Montreal, Sydney, Kigali and Mexico City, white dinners will follow on from that which was started by M. François Pasquier in gardens on the edge of Paris.
Dates and how to be a part of a dinner can be found on the official Dîner en Blanc website.
