Get Fired Up With La Torcia Olympica Cocktail
If you’re in the UK and despairing at the fact you didn’t manage to carry the 2012 London Olympic torch through your city – and who wouldn’t be crushed at missing out on that – then dry your eyes and drown your sorrows in La Torcia Olympica, a far more enjoyable Olympic Flame(ing cocktail).
Being served at Italian bar and restaurant Bunga Bunga (a cheekily-named swipe at the ever-exuberant antics of Italian ex-Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi) in South London, this beast of a drink measures in at a medal-winning yard high, containing Grey Goose Vodka and Amaretto Saliza Veneziano, shaken with pink grapefruit juice and finished with Terra Serena Rose Prosecco and homemade "Bunga Mandarin Bitter." Oh, and a real flame, of course, to give that true Olympic touch.
Its creators claim that it’s stealthy enough for eight-ten people to share, so get your relay team (or two) together and get an Olympic thirst on.
