Herlinde Koelbl @ Osram Art Projects (MUC)
Her award-winning work exhibited all over the world, but now it's time for acclaimed German photographer/filmmaker Herlinde Koelbl to once again be the focal point at home as a glimpse of her broad body of work comprises the tenth project for Osram Art Projects' Seven Screens series. Koelbl's installation, You Have Taken Away My Heart, With One Look You Have Taken It, is a captivating look at humanity, with the focus on the importance of sight, specifically how we recognize, perceive, see, and communicate. Inspired by Solomon's "Song of Songs," the artist also uses the project to explore the meaning of light and perception. The installation will be on display until May, 15 2012
