Jeremy Scott and Adidas Originals Debut Crazy Colorful Video
Jeremy Scott and Adidas Originals have released a new hyperactive video to mark the continuation of their collaboration with a Fall/Winter 2012 collection built on bold, playful prints. Set to the brand new tune "OMG" by L.A. party-fixture Jonny Makeup, the video showcases a variety of items from heavily patterned tracksuits and obligatory athletic shoes, to various cuts of dress, jackets and sweats. Throughout the video models jump around and strike poses in front of colorful backgrounds reflective of the clothing prints they are sporting. Most eye-catching is the background of multi-colored computer keys that match Scott's brand new rainbow-hued keyboard print. Known for utilizing iconic elements of culture such as fast food, junk food, movie tickets and even muppets, it was only a matter of time before Scott drew upon the piece of technology that inhabits our everyday lives. Think Lisa Frank meets MacBookPro. There's also a logo/skull print, leopard print and an amped-up floral print included alongside the keyboard print.
Items from his previous Adidas collections — such as his winged adidas shoes emulating the Greek god Mercury as well as his french-fry themed bicycle shorts — turn up time and time again in clubs, party photos and on street style blogs. One only needs to watch this video once to surmise they'll be catching items from this latest collection on every trendsetter once the clothing hits stores in August.
