Joe McCanta

Hailed by the New York Times as having created the ‘epicentre of organic cocktails’ and called a ‘taste ninja’ by In Style magazine, Joe McCanta is one of today’s foremost bar chefs and sommeliers leading the rapidly growing movement of mixology and bar design.

He has created a number of exciting and innovative wine/cocktail lists for retail stores and restaurants throughout North America and spearheaded the organic cocktail movement within the US through crafting innovative drinks and choosing wines for three-time Wine Spectator Award winning Counter Restaurant and Bar (NYC).

For the past seven years he has turned his focus to Europe, creating cocktail, juice and wine lists for several hotels and restaurants including Saf Restaurant and Bar, opened April 2008 in east London.

Joe McCanta has been working with Perrier for the last two years developing cocktails and presenting mixology master classes throughout the UK. [Website]
