London's Sidexside Reminds Us That It Takes Two To Make A Thing Go Right
A recent Boiler Room set by Jamie xx and Caribou reminded us that nothing is more special than watching DJs pair up on the decks. Enter Sidexside, an upcoming three-part celebration taking place in October where DJs will pair up for an eight-hour set using the DJ booth as their "blank canvas." Unlike traditional DJ sets, the participating jocks will be digging deep into their collections, pulling out rare tunes and classics as well as a few secret weapons.
The first event takes place on October 13 with Horse Meat Disco SXS Danny Krivit; October 19 features Justin Martin SXS Redlight and the series closes on October 20 with Nina Kraviz SXS DJ Stingray. Check LWE's site for full details.
