Madonna Reveals Flashy Cover for 'MDNA'

With millions of fans eagerly awaiting the unveiling of her new single, "Give Me All Your Luvin'," Madonna gives further hints as to what the direction of her new album will be like with the unveiling of MDNA album cover today (featured below). With a wash of bright colors over a ridged glass pain, Madge's bright red lips contrast her fair skin with the title blazoned across the bottom — sort of like the cover to an early '90s fashion magazine. Whether or not the sleeve is an indicator of MDNA being a throwback to her "Vogue" days is only a matter of time, as "Give Me All Your Luvin'" is set for release on February 3, with a preview of the video on "American Idol" the night before.

MDNA is Madonna's follow up to Hard Candy, released in 2008. While her last album was more of an effort to reflect a modern pop sound, working with producers like The Neptunes and Justin Timberlake, MDNA's personnel features a few left field house DJs like Martin Solveig, and Benny Benassi, along with William Orbit, the man not only behind Madonna's Ray of Light album, but also Blur's experimental 13 record.

Madonna is set to perform at the upcoming Super Bowl XLVI halftime show this Sunday, where she will most likely unveil more from MDNA, as both "Give Me All Your Lovin'" co-stars, Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. are scheduled to be performing with her. After last year's dismal Black Eyed Peas performance, Madonna's pending appearance will be a most welcomed improvement.
