Otro Skate Scupture is all Aglow
Brave an ordinary skate park after dark and you're liable to land in the ER. Take on Otro post sundown and you need not worry too much about an inevitable nasty tumble. Conceived by Korean artist Koo Jeong-A, Otro is a glow in the dark "skate sculpture" on France's Vassivière Island. Outfitted with cradles, bumps and tunnels, the ovoid shaped structure is covered with green phosphorescent paint that illuminates at night. Brought to the masses by Brussels' L’Escaut Architectures, it's one of the most impressive examples of art gone interactive. [via PSFK]
