Runway Recap: Mugler Spring 2013 [Gallery]
Slick leathers, tropical prints and feminine silhouettes owned the runway, as Mugler's Nicola Formichetti presented the label's spring collection. Set to a soundtrack by Lady Gaga — who Formichetti has been styling since 2009 — the show was attended by a mixed crowd of fashion fixtures, including NYC nightlife empress Susanne Bartsch and musician/model Sky Ferreira. Formichetti and designer Sebastian Peigne applied their signature, futuristic elements to many pieces, highlighting others with flared skirts, broad shoulders and super-short hems. Much attention was directed at the debut line of handbags, which quietly helped to carry an assortment of looks. Here, are a few. [via WWD]
