Sickboy Delves Into the Dark Side of Heaven and Earth
Controversial UK street artist Sickboy returns to stir up thoughts and emotion with Heaven and Earth, his second major London exhibition.
Featuring a special collaborative installation with 12 other artists, including D*Face and Eine, the new show sees the renowned graffiti artist bringing religious iconography into his esoteric, trippy urban collage stylings, complete with the usual bold color schemes and dark humor. The show will also feature a walk-in confessional booth for attendees to submit anonymous confessions, which will then itself become part of the exhibition.
Heaven and Earth comes several years after Sickboy’s previous London show, Stay Free, which saw the artist convert a Victorian tram shed in London into a huge interactive playground, inspired by the classic children’s story Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (complete with balaclava-clad Oompa Loompas).
Heaven and Earth will be exhibited at Dray Walk, 91 Brick Lane, London, from November 4-6.
