Stine Goya's Dreamy Collection at Copenhagen Fashion Week [Gallery]
A graduate of London's Central Saint Martins, Stine Goya has been designing her eponymous clothing line of womenswear since 2007. Taking to the runway of Copenhagen's Fashion Week this past week, the Danish designer unveiled her SS13 collection on a bevy of big-haired, face-painted models. The styling in addition to the skittering lights of the runway provided a dream-like atmosphere.
Parading under dozens of bright light bulbs and angular, diamond-shaped frames, the models displayed patterned tops and high-waisted trousers, sporty dresses and colorful cigarette-legged jeans. Tracks by Molly Nilsson, Blonde Redhead and a remix of Destiny's Child's "Say My Name" provided soundtracking to the event as put together by Djuna Barnes. The flowing, breezy cuts and pastel color scheme of the collection has garned a heap of praise since the showing, including compliments from Brazilian Vogue's editor-in-chief Bruno Astuto who claims to now be "in love" with the brand.
