Tomorrowland 2012: Back to Belgium
Ever hear the saying "Belgium does it better?" No? Well, to be honest, neither have we, but it's a notion that's likely to start spreading after dance and electronic music lovers from around the world make the pilgrimage to this year's edition of the renowned Tomorrowland festival. De Schorre National Park in Belgium is once again set to be the site for the big three-day blowout, and it's scheduled for July 27-29 of 2012.
If last year's Tomorrowland -- which included performances by the likes of Swedish House Mafia, Steve Aoki, Richie Hawtin, and many more — gives us anything to go by, then the 2012 run of the festival is bound to be an even more mind-melting experience than its predecessor. "So what's the lineup?" you ask. Try these names on for size: David Guetta, Fatboy Slim, Carl Cox, John Digweed — impressed yet? Wait, it gets better; the latest update is that Swedish phenomenon Avicii has also been announced as part of the roster. Keep in mind that these are just the first artists to sign on -- there are even more to come. Factor in the expected enhancements of dazzling stage design and on-site extras and the next installment of Tomorrowland looks like it just might be the best thing to happen to Belgium since Eddy Merckx. Ticket info will be given on February 1, with ticket sales starting on April 7.
