Upcoming Event: Berlin Art Week
Expect art connoisseurs from across the globe to flood into Germany’s capital for the city’s inaugural Berlin Art Week from September 11.
Coinciding with a number of Berlin’s major art fairs and trade shows, art enthusiasts can expect to get inspired by a range of exhibitions, gallery openings, musical performances, feature screenings, open galleries and a list of VIP parties to boot.
The six day calendar of events will take place across a number of infamous local venues including the historic Tempelhof airport, hundreds of open galleries and a number of Berlin's major institutions of contemporary art (Akademie der Künste, Berlinische Galerie, C/O Berlin, Haus der Kulturen der Welt, KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Nationalgalerie, Verein der Freunde der Nationalgalerie, Neuer Berliner Kunstverein [n.b.k.] and Neue Gesellschaft für Bildende Kunst [NGBK] e.V.).
With one admission fee of €28 giving you access to six days of pure art indulgence, Berlin Art Week is set to mark Berlin on the map of the most artistic affluent cities.
