Upcoming Event: Pitchfork Music Festival Paris @ La Grande Halle de la Villette (CDG)
Paris will live up to its name as "The City of Lights" come November, when U.S.-based music website Pitchfork and its festival goes abroad for its second event in La Ville-Lumière. After a successful debut in Paris last year, the event has expanded to three days and will again take place at La Grande Halle de la Villette, a stunning 19th century glass and metal structure located within the city’s largest public park. The performer lineup thus far is magnifique, including M83 (pictured), Animal Collective, Grizzly Bear, Robyn, Sébastien Tellier, Simian Mobile Disco, The Walkmen and Japandroids. More acts will be announced as the event approaches. We have no doubt there will be something for Parisians, Francophiles and enlightened music fans the world over.
