Visionquest Prepare Ibiza Invasion
Individually, Seth Troxler, Lee Curtiss, Ryan Crosson and Shaun Reeves are DJ/producers of undeniable skill, but when the four young Detroiters come together under the banner of the Visionquest collective, their influence expands exponentially, and those in attendance when this DJ demolition crew invades Ibiza on August 1 will get an up-close illustration of exactly what that means. Ibiza's DC10 will be the site of the sensory saturation that is the aim of the Visionquest live experience, and in order to achieve a truly all-encompassing effect, the foursome will be making it a multimedia moment in time.
Visionquest are partnering with event entrepreneur Jon Ozias (who has conceptualized happenings for Ghostly International, Planet-E, and many more) and Secret Productions (known for their work on the Secret Garden Party and the Glade Festival) for a very special production. For instance, while the Visionquest quartet is busy creating an immersive aural environment from within the main room of the club, an audio/visual stream fed out to the terrace will help turn the event into something more than simply a group of people standing in front of a DJ. In Crosson's words, the DC10 event "marks the first step towards our larger plan to transforming event spaces worldwide to create a unique, interactive and wholly immersive party experience."
