Wig Wham Bam At Queen Of Hoxton
If you ever dreamed of spending a winter night chilling in a wigwam, then your dream is now a reality as the ever-so-hip Queen of Hoxton has created a pop-up bar — or rather a pop-up tepee, Wig Wam Bam — for your drinking pleasure. Hidden away on its rooftop, after climbing a stairwell line with candles, you’ll find a well heated wigwam with open fire to keep everyone nice and toasty on even the coldest night. The tent is lined with sawdust floors and log seating to give the place that old campfire feeling — even if it is situated right in the heart of London.
And speaking of fire, there’s a rather large hanging grill suspended from the ceiling. This intimate, yet rather festive wigwam offers array of yummy bites from bratwurst, bangers, Buffalo steaks and grilled cheese as well as hot cider and rum, mulled wine and beer to wash it all down. This wigwam has more then small bites and lively libation as there will be sing-a-longs, pie eating contest, ping pong and an array of musicians popping up to perform. You might even hear a rock version of "Kumbaya" if you're lucky, but don’t hold your breath for that. And if you ever had a hankering to learn the ukulele, you can get lesson every Tuesday till this jamming wigwam close down shop. So make sure to get up to that roof quick, because this pop-up will only last till the end of March.
