Dubai-based art curators and creative management collective The Domino is hosting a workshop this weekend that could inspire you to take a leap into a career in illustration or just provide an expert insight into the future of the genre. A panel of professionals with lead discussions on topics including the role of technology in illustration, how to make money and stay quirky, the challenges faced by freelancers and the use of illustration in unconventional places like graffiti and tattoos. Costing Dhs80 and being held at cool space of the moment, The Cartoon Art Gallery, this session will be a magnet for people who want to meet fellow artists or get a glimpse of life beyond the nine to five.
