Club of the Week: Deep Disorder
Daytime clubbing is receiving a lot of attention at the moment, mainly by people who can get their heads around the very un-British concept of getting leathered in the afternoon and dancing to banging beats at teatime.
It’s a very Mediterranean thing, presumably imported by those who want their Ibiza/Majorca/Barcelona holiday to continue when they get home, even if it’s raining.
Let’s hope it’s not raining this Saturday (and judging by the forecast it’s going to be a scorcher) as Cargo is embracing the all-day party trend with a midday-6pm bash on its terrace.
Music comes courtesy of the Deep Disorder crew whose DJs (Bradley C, Jay Roast, Pel Robinson et al) will be spinning deep house and nu disco all afternoon. If the sun does shine this looks like a winner.
Stick around afterwards in east London for Shifty also at Cargo. This stylish house night kicks off at 9pm and features headline sets from Cera Alba, Dennis Christopher and Joseph Williams.
