Club of the Week: Electric Minds Loft Party
Berlin comes to east London this weekend in the form of a house-fuelled loft party in a top secret location (so secret, in fact, that we can’t even tell you where it is, but mail info@electricminds.co.uk for details).
What we can reveal though is that Electric Minds resident Dolan Bergin – himself an excellent deep house and disco purveyor – has invited celebrated German DJ and producer Move D to play a guest spot.
As a producer Move D, real name David Moufang, is best known for his collaborative work with Jonus Grossman under the Deep Space Network guise. Between them they have produced a number of seminal ambient techno and deep house tracks and albums, including the awesome Source Records compilation 'Homeworks'.
That album is almost two decades old but Moufang continues to shine, so this rare opportunity to see him in the capital is not to be overlooked.
