Club of the Week: Lovebox
Less of a club more of a festival for clubbers, Lovebox returns to east London this weekend for three days and nights of music and mayhem.
Victoria Park is the venue for the urban festival which features headline sets from Hot Chip, The Rapture, Grace Jones and curators Groove Armada (live).
As well as the big-hitters there are underground and up-and-coming bands and DJs playing across the park’s six stages, and mainstays of the London clubbing scene like Andrew Weatherall, Norman Jay and Horse Meat Disco all make appearances too.
Away from the main stages the NYC Downlow and Fact Magazine arenas are worth checking out as they boast sets from 2 Bears, Pearson Sound, Joy Orbison, Felix Da Housecat and many, many more.
With an optimistic weather forecast and tickets still available for all three days this is a London festival well worth a look.
