Hackney Hosts The Fete For The WickED
As part of the on-going arts revolution in east London the Hackney WickED movement is hosting a new event this weekend (July 21) that brings together a handful of the area’s most exciting artists.
The Fete for the WickED takes place on Mabley Green and will showcase work from Hackey Wick artists and photographers as well as hosting art games and stalls selling ‘made in the Wick’ products.

Hackney WickED runs numerous workshops throughput the year and the Fete is a great place to find out what’s on when and to sign up and get involved.
As an added bonus (or reason to leave early, depending on your viewpoint!) the Olympic Torch is expected to pass by the Fete at 6.20pm. The event runs from 2pm to 7pm.
