Gig: Woozy US troubadour Ty Segall is in the country for a few gigs with band White Fence this week. Catch him live at Birthdays in Stoke Newington this Thursday (Aug 2) for some softly strummed psychedelic garage rock.
Festival: Greenwich Peninsula is the venue for this year’s Eastern Electrics Festival which plays host to a stellar line up of excellent DJs playing all day on Saturday (Aug 4) from 11am. Check out live performances from Crazy P and Azari & III plus sets from the wonderful Andrew Weatherall, Joy Orbison, Koreless and Tensnake.
Club: This Friday sees Clash magazine host its East Not East night at The Shacklewell Arms in Dalston. Top of the bill are Gang Colours who share the evening with Crosstown Rebels signing Amirali and Glass Animals, all for only a fiver.
