New Order To Headline Bestival
Legendary Manchester band New Order will headline the Saturday night of Bestival 2012.
Following last week’s announcement that Sigur Rós, The xx, Justice, Azealia Banks and Micheal Kiwanuka had been added to the bill for the September 6-9 festival, comeback kings New Order top the list of a raft of new additions.
They will be joined by Friendly Fires, Death In Vegas, Django Django, Daughter and Drums of Death at the Isle of Wight event.
Speaking about New Order festival organiser Rob Da Bank said: “So I've got Blue Monday blaring out of the Bestival HQ office speakers as we unveil our iconic Saturday night headliner New Order.
"True Faith, Bizarre Love Triangle, Fine Time, Regret - so many amazing records I grew up listening to and still listen to now and they still sound immense, pioneering, legendary. See you down the front!”
