Upcoming Event: Carnival Garden Party
Thanks to the Olympics, London is already experiencing a carnival atmosphere, but that won’t stop things cranking up a notch at the end of August when the Notting Hill Carnival gets underway.
One Notting Hill bash we’re particularly excited about is the annual Carnival Garden Party which runs over two days at the Mason’s Arms and features four knock-out sessions.
Sunday August 27 sees Justin Robertson, Lisa Loud and Barry Ashworth headlining the ‘25 Years of Acid House’ room and Pete Herbert, Terry Farley and Guy Williams playing a ‘Paradise 45’ session.
This awesome line-up is equaled the following day when Dub Pistols (live), Rocky (Xpress2), Severino and Don Letts all play the ‘West Side Story’ room and Ashley Beedle, Diesel and Dave Jarvis headline the ‘Heavy Disco’ party.
Now in its 11th year the Garden Party leads the charge when it comes to house music at Carnival, and with such a stellar line-up for 2012 this year promises to be as amazing as ever.
