West End Cocktail Club Heads East for Olympics
Like every loyal Londoner we can’t wait for the Olympic Games 2012 to get started. The sun has at long last come out, the temperature is soaring and the Olympic Torch, having travelled the length and breadth of the country is now being welcomed by millions of cheering locals as it visits each borough in the capital before finally arriving at the stadium for the start of proceedings.
But we also still love our little bit of luxury as well. So what could be nicer than the arrival of said torch coinciding with the arrival of the very smart Maddox Beach Club pop-up in association with X.B. on Friday 27th July?
The Maddox Beach Club at Formans Fish Island is, at just 100 metres, the closest venue to the stadium. And if your name happens to be Usain Bolt, that’s less than a 10 second sprint away.
It’s going to be the perfect place to catch the Olympic action and soak up the atmosphere – enjoying both in style thanks to the legendary Maddox Club bringing its trademark West End glamour to Hackney Wick throughout the Games. The pop-up bar will include a large man-made beach complete with palm trees, all-important volleyball court and sun loungers surrounding the indoor bar which will be screening all the events.
And if that isn’t enough the Ibiza Angels will be on hand to provide relaxing massages, Admirable Crichton will be serving up the very finest cuisine and of course there’s also luxury cocktail brand X.B. on hand to quench the inevitable thirst induced from watching all that sporting activity. All in all plenty for every Olympics fan to enjoy the greatest show on earth in appropriate fashion.
See you there for cocktails and beach volleyball.
Maddox Beach Club at Formans Fish Island will be open 11.30am until 2am throughout the London Olympic Games 2012
