Wolf + Lamb Join Krankbrother For Shoreditch Street Party
The Jubilee celebrations may be over, but no-one told London-based promoters Krankbrother who host a Shoreditch street party this weekend.
Featuring a headline set from New York house duo Wolf + Lamb, as well as live performances from Guti (Desolat) and Stimming (Diynamic), the party takes place on June 9 on Clifton Street, Shoreditch.
“Here at Krankbrother, we’ve always looked on enviously at the fantastic Notting Hill Carnival. We felt strongly that we in east London should be able to celebrate east London’s thriving electronic music scene in the same grand tradition of the British Street Party,” say the promoters.
“That is what this event is all about – celebrating east London’s diverse and hugely popular dance music scene, all in a wonderful outdoor setting in the heart of Hackney. It’s taken a lot of hard work to get the event organised and authorised by the authorities, which makes us even happier to be going ahead with it!”
As with all Krankborther parties expect high-end production and plenty of surprises, including a mouth-watering array of food and drink such as BBQ ribs courtesy of The Rib Man and summer cocktails.
The bash kicks off at 1pm wrapping up at 10pm, with an after party set to take place at a ‘secret venue’ just five minutes from Clifton Street.
