John Dadzie, better known by his DJ/producer moniker 12th Planet, is a Los Angeles native that's been at the forefront of the American takeover of dubstep, along with his Smog team. Dadzie has worked on productions alongside the likes of Datsik, Doctor P, Plastician, Skream, and Skrillex, and he's shared stages around the world with the biggest names in electronic music, from club dates to the festival circuit, with no signs of slowing down.
Having just released a free EP on Scion A/V called The End Is Near!, 12th Planet is out on tour in the U.S. to support the release, stopping at New York City's Webster Hall on Friday, February 10. We caught up with Dadzie and asked him to tell us his five favorite tracks at the moment.
