Co Collections’ Fashion Video Directed by Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter
Co Collections — a new fashion L.A.-based label founded in Los Angeles in 2011 by film producer Stephanie Danan and screenwriter Justin Kern — just kicked things up a notch by having Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter direct French actress Elodie Bouchez in the spring 2012 film for fashion label. The film (see below) was shot in Marrakesh and draws influence from '70s sci-fi flicks such as The Hunger (how good was David Bowie in that movie?) and Altered States. Ooooh, creepy! The film is a teaser for Co's second season, which launched with a party hosted by Andre Saraiva during New York Fashion Week at The Standard Hotel. With Bangalter — who had a cameo in last year's Tron: Legacy and starred with partner Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo in 2007's Electroma — behind the camera for this season's collection, how in the world are they going to top themselves next time around?
