Event Recap: Solange & Devonte Hynes 'Celebrate True' EP Release Party at Sonos Studio [Gallery]
Solange and Devonte Hynes released their first collaborative EP entitled True yesterday and celebrated by inviting guests to a private listening party. The event was held at the Sonos Studio temporary space and gallery where guests are encouraged to experiment with sound using Sonos speakers. It was an intimate setting, with a small stage surrounded by floor pillows and sofas with bohemian-chic end tables. The mixed crowd of industry professionals, musicians, and fashionistas enjoyed cocktails provided by Patron XO Cafe, Peroni beer and Perrier. Guests were able to relax while listening to the seven track EP and then hear the inspiration and truth behind the music directly from Solange. True will be released on CD and vinyl through Terrible Records on January 8, 2013.
