Hotelier and designer Avi Brosh strikes again. PaliHotel is LA’s newest boutique hotel on Melrose Ave. —posh without frills and Mini-Me to his 2008 Palihouse Holloway.
From indie rock band members to Prince Williams – the quirky yet minimalistic décor appeases both crowds. Ladders as closets, Dean & Deluca minibar goodies in a wire basket and simple luxury bedding are just some of the Brosh inspired elements. With his sequel in the same fashion as Palihouse, maybe Brosh is christening a new design trend: deconstructed chic.
Although it will not serve alcohol (sadly no liquor license is available), PaliHotel will feature a coffee house named PaliKitchen, a six-bed Thai massage spa, as well as a blowout salon.
PaliHotel welcomed its first bedfellows February 1, 2012. Rooms start at $250 per night.
