Sebastian Tellier and More at Air Beverage Launch
French producer/composer Sebastian Tellier (pictured) has always been associated with Air, but up until now it was Air the Gallic electro-pop duo with which Tellier was aligned. That's about to change, however — and probably confuse a lot of people in the process — when Air the beverage launches with a bit of a bang at several parties over the course of the summer.
The non-musical Air is a kind of carbonated "clear beer" containing alcohol and water and additional flavoring, and since it seems like an adventurous new idea in beverages, they decided to do something equally cutting-edge for their coming-out parties. Air will be partnering with Vice for a series of five launch parties in different cities, each one featuring a specially selected musical artist to accompany the event. The whole thing kicks off in L.A. on June 28, when Tellier turns up at 333Live to begin his association with an Air of a different kind, along with Jacques Renault and Poolside. Subsequent Air events will run through early August, and will include entertainment by the likes of AC Slater, Z-Trip, Surkin & Sinden, and more.
