Star Spangled Outfits for July 4th [Gallery]
Fourth of July brings fireworks, barbecues and pool parties, each with its own guest list and a reason to show your ability to out red, white and blue the next person.
For some, the holiday's fashion is something as simple as a way to transition from day-to-night gracefully. Celebrity stylist Jenn Teller chose a top that she can wear tied around her waist or as a bikini coverup, "I plan to be at the beach this Fourth of July and I like to have options with my outfits. Denim shorts are my go-to on long beach days!"
Others use the Fourth of July as another excuse for the ultimate dress-up party. Andrea Burman of LA explains what she will be wearing this year, "My favorite Toi et Moi blouse, the retro inspired structure mixed with the romantic ruffles of T-Bags Los Angeles shorts gives me the perfect Fourth of July look. I love showing my holiday spirit!"
Then there are some people who are so inspired by the holiday that what they wear, though chic and of course premeditated, is simply second to the holiday's events. Blogger Miranda McDonald puts it simply, "The only accessory I need for the Fourth of July festivities is a little sparkler action, but some red tie-dye denim doesn't hurt."
I couldn't agree more. Happy Fourth and happy shopping!
