Street Style L.A

Silver Lake, once home to Walt Disney and ABC studios, has become the epicenter for independent music, chic fashion boutiques and all things hipster in L.A. It's been referred to as the "Los Angeles counterpart to Brooklyn’s Williamsburg" by the New York Times. Celebrities like Ryan Gosling or Christina Ricci have called this neighborhood home.

With an interesting variety of clothing stores, restaurants, and nightlife, Silver Lake has attracted a plethora of artists, liberals, college students, and fashionistas. Local independent boutiques like Driftwood and Matrushka, as well as hipster hang out spots Cha Cha Lounge and The Satellite (formerly Spaceland) have defined the social landscape of the area and helped carve out Silver Lake's status as a bohemian cultural mecca.

Société Perrier got a glimpse of the people and more importantly, the fashion of Silver Lake.
