"I knew I wanted to create an exclusive and intimate environment where clients could trust their stylist to choose things that actually work for them, as opposed to just trying to make a sale," says Monroe. "It was really important for me that I create an atmosphere for customers to come and get the 'celebrity' experience while shopping an exclusive collection of hard-to-find brands, hand-picked vintage, custom pieces, and more — all while receiving expert advice and service."
This one-stop style destination is available to a select group of fashion-conscious shoppers for an annual fee of $1000, and clients are accepted on a referral basis or through an online application process. If you choose to apply for one of the limited stylehaüs memberships, you'll first fill out an extensive questionnaire about your personal style, fit, and lifestyle preferences. Should you meet the qualifications for one of these coveted memberships, your first experience as a stylehaüs client will be fun, friendly, and of course, custom made just for you.
Upon entering the boutique, you'll be greeted by your personal stylist, the individual with whom you will forge a deeply personal relationship built on trust and fashion. Your stylist has been matched to you for compatibility based on your style preferences and the two of you will begin by discussing the areas where you feel you need a style intervention. For example, some clients request specific assistance selecting outfits for evenings out, while others are focused on incorporating new pieces into their existing wardrobe. After this initial discussion, you'll review the custom pull that will be ready and waiting for you. This pull will include an entire selection of clothes catered to your fit and style preferences.
Included in your annual membership are two at-home closet consultations, during which your stylist comes to your home and evaluates which wardrobe staples you may be lacking, as well as the best way to utilize the pieces you already have. You will also receive private styling appointments and custom pulls throughout the year; these appointments can take place in the stylehaüs store, or your stylist can ship the collection straight to your home, vacation destination, or wherever else you desire. Members are also invited to exclusive stylehaüs events and, on top of all this, stylehaüs offers a 24/7 concierge service to cater to any fashion emergency that should arise.

"One of our clients came in and bought an amazing white dress for a first date. She was so excited to wear it and it looked absolutely gorgeous on her. Later that night, one of our stylists got a phone call - the client was calling from the bathroom of the restaurant on the verge of tears because she just spilled her entire glass of red wine all over her lap....Luckily, we had another of the same dress in the store, and the stylist was able to stop by and grab it and bring it to our client within a half hour, saving the day as her fashion fairy godmother!
