The Bar at Cliff's Unveils New Winter Menu
It may not be that cold in L.A., but that's not stopping the mixolgists at the bar at Cliff's Edge from whipping up a tasty winter cocktail menu. After a massive overhaul last year of the restaurant, owner Dana Hollister added a new classic cocktail program with Former Seven Grand and Villains mixologist Dave Whitton creating the menu last spring. Like many other cocktail bars, the drinks are seasonal. For the winter menu, the boys behind the bar didn't disappoint by creating one that provides loads of variety. The one thing you won't get at Cliff's is boredom, as each day the bartenders switch up the menu by adding a nightly special.

One of their trusted bartenders — most of them have been whipping up drinks for patrons at Cliff's for several years now — might serve you the "Question Mark," a lively and tasty drink made of lavender simple syrup, fresh grapefruit, bitters, lemon, and Bols Genever. Or if you're battling a cold, then the Cliff's Cure-All — a hot toddy with Mezcal infused with sage and eucalyptus, honey and fresh lemon — will make you feel all better. Better yet, sample the Bitter made with 12-year-old Zaya rum, Fernet Branca, lime juice, brown sugar syrup, egg whites that won't leave a bitter taste in your mouth.
