Le Mat es una terraza situada enfrente del parque Lincoln (Emilio Castelar 149, Polanco) en donde el arte, la naturaleza, y la buena comida fluyen con una decoración que promete cambiar con cada estación del año. Su nombre es robado del tarot marseillés y hace alusión a la carta de “El Loco”.
“El Loco” es libre, es natural, simple y bohemio. No tiene ataduras ni límites tal como el menú creado por Poncho Cadena y Álvaro Ariza, con ingredientes orgánicos (claro) y que por el momento incluye: camarones roca, salpicón de pato, chamorro de cordero, sándwich de ribeye (uno de los favoritos), ensaladas y pescados, pero que con el tiempo mutará en nuevos sabores y platillos creados según la inspiración del momento.
Toda la gente común tiene un loco adentro. Le Mat vive en la terraza de Common People, una tienda que marca tendencias no sólo con sus artículos de más de 40 grandes diseñadores, sino con una manera innovadora de comunicarse con el público más exclusivo de la ciudad de México.
Visitar Le Mat es olvidar la cotidianidad social, dejar que tu espíritu se apropie de ti, disfrutar conscientemente de la locura. Ser un incomprendido feliz.

Le Mat is a terrace located right in front of Lincoln Park (Emilio Castelar 149, Polanco), where the art, nature and good food blend with a décor that promises to change with each season of the year. Its name comes from the Tarot of Marseilles, and it’s a nod to the trump card of The Fool, the card of infinite possibilities.
The Fool is free, natural, simple and bohemian. He doesn’t have any attachments or limits, just like the menu created by chefs Poncho Cadena and Álvaro Ariza, with organic ingredients (of course) and which, at the moment, includes Rock Shrimp, Duck Salpicón, Lamb Shank, Rib Eye Sandwich (one of the favorites), Fish and Salads, but which will change with time into new flavors and dishes, depending on the moment’s inspiration.
There’s always a little bit of crazy in every ordinary person. In the case of Le Mat, the restaurant is found in Common People’s terrace, a trendsetting store not just because of its selection of products created by over 40 of the best national and international designers, but also because of their innovative means of communication with Mexico City’s most exclusive customers.
Visiting Le Mat is forgetting life’s routine, allowing your spirit to take over and embracing one’s own craziness. It's being happily misunderstood.
