Brass Knuckles Sucker Punches the Club Scene

Nervous Records turned 20 this past summer, but that doesn't mean they've started to slow down in delivering new and exciting artists. Miami trio Brass Knuckles is their latest entry into the electronic landscape. A production team by day, and a stellar DJ squad by night, Danny D'Brito, Tony Livadas, and Anthony Pisano have become heavily sought after partystarters, in addition to building a lot of steam with their own reoccurring event, Electrik Circus, which has become the toast of Grand Central.

For three years now, the group has burned up dance floors with styling remixes of "Fuck You" by Cee-Lo Green and "DJ's Got Us Falling in Love" by Usher, and they're currently making serious waves with their latest single, "Lie to You." Forged in Miami, which the trio considers a major influence on their sound, Brass Knuckles have accomplished a lot in their short history, including producing tracks on Jagged Edge's latest record, one of which features Rick Ross.

Currently the band will be working in LA on their own EP, as well as embarking on a tour of Europe, which will follow with dates in Miami, New York, Las Vegas, and several colleges. The group's only mission for the immediate future is "to make as many people dance in the world as possible," according to a recent Miami New Times interview, which given their game plan for the year, seems well underway.
