Christian Dior Pop-Up Opening During Art Basel Miami
If it wasn't enough already, Art Basel Miami Beach is about to get that much more fashionable. Christian Dior and contemporary German artist and sculptor Anselm Reyle have joined forces on a comprehensive art-inflected collaboration line featuring bags, wallets, jewelry, sunglasses, scarves, footwear, and even limited-edition nail polishes and eye palettes. While the rest of the world has to wait until January 9, 2012 (so far away...) to get their hands on these funky takes on classic Dior — ranging in price from US$268 (€190) for a bold bangle to US$4018 (€2850) for a citrus-y metallic Lady Dior handbag — Miami will be home to a three-week-long Christian Dior x Anselm Reyle pop-up shop in the Design District, starting on November 28. Perhaps a harbinger of a standalone Christian Dior boutique in the burgeoning luxury shopping corridor?
