Marriott Marco Island Makes a Big Impression
When you hear South Florida travel, Miami probably comes to mind first but Marco Island is a white sand enclave in the Gulf of Mexico not to be missed on your vacation to do list. The largest island of Florida's Ten Thousand Islands region, this sunny destination is a great place to relax or experience exhilarating adventure tours.

If you want to take things up a notch, book a jetski tour to navigate the surrounding island archipelago where you might see dolphins, manatees and nurse sharks up close. Want even more wildlife? The Everglades are short drive away, where you can cruise mangroves on an airboat and look closely (but not too close) into the eyes of alligators — one the most dangerous predators on earth. During our visit one pesky alligator almost climbed onto our boat but then decided to swim away after giving us a fright.
For those looking to relax, the newly revamped spa (pictured above) is a sanctuary of indulgence. Book a luxurious massage or one of the many other soothing spa services. Once you're done being pampered, head to the spa pool which is only open spa guests for a quick dip.
