Upcoming Event: The Endless Renaissance @ Bass Museum of Art
At the Bass Museum of Art, they have a simple but strongly upheld mission to "inspire and educate by exploring the connections between our historical collection and contemporary art." For The Endless Renaissance, Bass carries out that message with excellent precision.
Among the contributotions will be Eija-Liisa Ahtila's Gospel-inspired moving pictures, Barry X Ball's figurative stone sculptures, Walead Beshty's fragmented glass and copper works, Hans-Peter Feldmann's reinterpreted found photos, Ged Quinn's allegorical paintings and excerpts from Araya Rasdjarmrearnsook's Two Planets series. The Endless Renaissance will be kicking off during Miami Art Week and continue through the winter.
