Модный завсегдатай светских раутов и вечеринок телеведущая Светлана Конеген, как выяснилось, интересный фотограф и наблюдатель жизни. На своей выставке «Имена, Вещи, Города» она представила цикл из 60 фотографий, созданный во время путешествий по Италии с помощью фотокамеры мобильного телефона. Имена — это портреты итальянцев, живущих в России; Вещи — художественные композиции и реди-мейды; Города — попытка передать «гений места» в фотографии.
A fashionable regular of social routs and parties, TV anchorwoman Svetlana Konegen, as it turns out, is a well-known photographer and follower of what’s going on. At her exhibition – “Names, Things, Cities” – she introduced a series of 60 photographs that were created at the time of her travels around Italy with the help of her cell phone camera. Names are portraits of Italians who live in Russia; Things are artistic compositions and ready-mades; Cities is an attempt to convey “the genius of places” in a photograph.
Это событие интересно, в первую очередь полным несовпадением образа самой телеведущей, которая известна как вызывающий и экстравагантный персонаж, и тем тихим умиротворённым настроением, которое разлито в снимках из Италии. Автор считает Италию совсем не той страной, что видится самим итальянцам. Для русских Италия — своего рода образ Рая, в его вполне реальном, земном воплощении. Италия в образах Светланы —придуманный, сочинённый путешественниками и пилигримами рай на Земле, куда приезжают чтобы прикоснуться к культурным артефактам и получить ощущение древности.
This event is interesting, first of all, due to the fact that it completely does not coincide with the images of the woman herself. She is well-known as a flashy and extravagant person, which is different from that quiet and peaceful mood that we get from the photos of Italy. The author considers Italy not the country that Italians themselves see. For Russians, Italy is an image of some sort of Paradise in its real, earthly incarnation. Italy in Svetlana’s photos is a made up, created by travelers and pilgrims paradise that is visited to touch cultural artifacts and feel antiquity.
Светлана, как и многие другие русские, посетившие Италию, смотрит на ее древние и уютные базилики, раскиданные в маленьких городках, на голубей, на камни и стены, дышащие историей, с надеждой и нежностью, как смотрят на страну своего полузабытого детства, на страну своих самых тёплых, глубоко спрятанных в скрытые закоулки памяти полуснов и полумечтаний.
Svetlana, as well as many Russians who visited Italy, look at its ancient and cozy basilicas that are scattered in small towns, at the pigeons, at stones and walls that breathe history. They look at all this with hope and tenderness, as if they are looking at a country of their forgotten childhood, at a country of their warmest and deeply hidden half-dreams, half-imaginations.
Такое мифотворчество, как считает автор выставки, - это и есть искусство, моделирование мира, репрезентация его в тех или иных образах — это и есть процесс познания. А у мифа, поддерживаемого всеми, есть уверенный шанс практически слиться с жизнью. Ведь имя этого мифа, придуманного рая на земле, - Италия.
This mytho-art, as is thought by the author of this exhibition is art; modeling of the world, representation of it in different images is the process of knowledge. A myth that is supported by everyone has a chance of becoming reality. The name of this myth, a made up Paradise on Earth is Italy.
