DJ Eleven's End of Year Agenda
If you're not already familiar with New York's own mixmeister extraordinaire and 11 Inch Records founder DJ Eleven, we won't bother detailing his many accomplishments here — instead we'll simply direct to our luminaries section to catch up on his backstory. OK now, y'all caught up? Good, because there's plenty of Eleven action to be encountered in the days to come, as he spins his way through the holiday season.
For starters, the next couple of installments of his weekly Fam residency at Von on Bleecker St. are nothing to sneeze at. The first one goes down this very evening, and in addition to Eleven and Sure Shot, the evening will include the turntable talents of Austin's DJ Protege. Next week, December 23, you'll be able to get a full dose of DJ Eleven as he mans the Fam decks on his own all night long. And if you're casting about for a New Year's Eve plan, search no further, because Eleven will be turning it up to 11 (sorry, couldn't resist) at The Rub New Year's Eve Party at Southpaw in Brooklyn. He'll be joined there by Cosmo Baker, DJ Ayres, and DJ MOMA, offering some of the best beats in town to wash your champagne down.
