Event Recap: Opening Ceremony Karaoke Party at Ace Hotel [Gallery]
On Friday night fashionable partiers filled up the main lobby of the Ace Hotel in New York to celebrate Fashion's Night Out at a party hosted by Opening Ceremony. The party's theme? Karaoke and the party's hosts Solange, Ed Droste of Grizzly Bear and Dev Hynes of Blood Orange weren't exactly shy about entering the stage themselves. Together they jumped on stage with other singers and then took turns gracing the crowd with a cover of Yeah Yeah Yeahs' "Maps" followed by an old-school R&B duet. Alexa Chung joined in the fun too singing a cover of Nelly's "Hot in Herre." Elsewhere in the crowd party photographer Nicky Digital snapped pictures of revelers while world-class makeovers were doled out to the crowd at manicure and hair styling stations.
