Get Your Global Dance on at Clubworld Halloween
If you fancy yourself an authentically intercontinental clubhopper, Adidas and Susanne Bartsch seem to be offering up your ultimate Halloween experience. They're presenting the best beatmeisters from four cosmopolitan locales at disparate points across the planet. Paris, Berlin, New York, and Tokyo will all be represented in the Clubworld Halloween throwdown on October 31. But the real trick and treat of the event is that they'll all be under the same roof.
New York's legendary Copacabana will be the United Nations of dance music this Halloween, as DJs from all over the world descend upon the renowned venue. The first floor will house the Tokyo Terror Room, with DJ Ansoni and Kayvon Zand, while the main floor will be the Dayglo Dungeon, with beats provided by London's DJ Severino and Berlin's Discodromo, among others. And up in the Copacabana's penthouse, otherwise known as the Slick It Up Slaughterhouse, New York's Bloody Mary and Slick It Up will be holding court. Throw in production and set design by Manuel Norena and decor by One-Half Nelson, and you've got yourself the makings of a truly international, sophisticated-but-spooky, and undeniably danceable way to spend your halloween. And you won't even have to look for your passport.
