Keith Haring 1978-1982 @ the Brooklyn Museum
The Brooklyn Museum takes a special look at Keith Haring's formative earlier work from his first years in New York City with this groundbreaking large scale exhibition. The showcase will feature 155 works on paper, experimental videos (including his first ever piece called Haring Paints Himself into a Corner), and 150+ archival objects — sketchbooks, journals, exhibition flyers, posters, documentary pics, and subway drawings (how did they get those?) — will make a rare public appearance.
